Privately financed students who study at the University of Fukui can apply for The Monbukagakusho Honors Scholarship for Privately-Financed International Students. The scholarship is 48,000 JPY/month (both undergraduate and graduate students) for maximum 12 months (for students enrolling in April).

Privately financed degree students-to-be who are admitted by a pre-arrival entrance examination can be nominated as a Monbukagakusho Honors Scholarship recipient by the University of Fukui. There are some requirements for the application such as academic standing; for details please contact the UF International Affairs Division (email@example.com). There is also another way of self recommendation for this scholarship if you have good score in The Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU). Application is usually open at the beginning of April every year and the information will be posted on the university notice board.
