International Exchange Activities On and Off Campus

We promote various exchange activities aiming to internationalize our local community and economy, help international students gain a better understanding of Japanese culture, and cultivate both international and Japanese students’ international awareness.

Exchange Activities with Local Communities

In order to support the internationalization of local communities, we send international students as a one day lecturer for more than 50 programs a year to promote cultural exchange and international understanding in Integrated Study Classes at local schools as well as in cultural exchange activities in local communities.

In addition, international students are sent as language instructors or interpreters in response to the request from local commercial and industrial circles, sometimes organizing a team of interpreters for economic missions from overseas.

These activities also help the international students to deepen their understanding of Japanese culture and life.

Exchange Activities on Campus

We promote exchange activities among international students as well as with Japanese students. The main purposes are to build the human relation network, through which we enhance the psychological stability of international students, as well as the intimate human network to help each other and cultivate both international and Japanese students’ international awareness.
