The network magazine “Kokoronet” has been published yearly since autumn 2001 in order to promote networking among international students who have returned to their home countries, international students on campus, staff and students of the University of Fukui, local organizations and institutions of international and cross-cultural relations, and local communities. 18 issues have been published so far and web publishing has been started from the combined issue of vol. 17 + 18.

Contents | About 1/3 of the magazine is comprised of news and reports from the International Student Center, and about 2/3 is comprised of articles contributed by international students. Articles may be descriptive stories of students’ impressions of events; essays on living, trips, movies, and books; stories introducing cultural and social aspects of international students’ home country; articles introducing food from international students’ home country; articles about Japanese students’ impressions of international students; articles introducing club activities; messages from international students who have returned to their home countries; and so on. |
